Right-of-Way Permit
The Town of Lincoln requires a Right-of-Way Permit for utility construction, installation, operation, or maintenance work within a Town right-of-way. This permit helps ensure that work is completed safely, responsibly, and in accordance with applicable Wisconsin statutes and Town requirements.
Applicants are asked to provide details about the proposed project, including the utility type, construction methods, work location and orientation, and anticipated start and completion dates. A map showing the location and scope of the project must also be submitted, along with contractor contact information at least five business days before permitted work begins.
The permit includes provisions addressing traffic control, excavation, restoration of disturbed areas, erosion control, utility placement, and other requirements designed to protect the Town's right-of-way and surrounding property. A $50 permit fee applies.
