NOTICE OF HEARING – DISCONTINUANCE OF A PUBLIC WAY IN THE TOWN OF LINCOLN, VILAS COUNTY
A public hearing will be held at the Lincoln Town Hall, 1205 Sundstein Road, Eagle River, WI 54521 on September 10, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., by the Lincoln Town Board to discuss a proposed action to commence discontinuance of the following described roads initiated by introduction of Resolution 2024-03 by the Lincoln Town Board, specifically:
Portion of Adams Road – 1,110 feet
Portion of Agof Road – 300 feet
Portion of Croker Road – 792 feet
Town Road 50 – 634 feet
Town Road 72 – 317 feet
It has been brought to the attention of the Town of Lincoln Board of Supervisors that the Town of Lincoln has the aforementioned roads in their inventory. They are maintained by the adjacent property owners and should belong to those property owners. The Town of Lincoln has not maintained them for over 10 years and has the right to discontinue them as town roads.
